Vishal Daftuar, one of the 22 change makers of the country
The country’s prestigious magazine “Outlook Business” has also included international human rights activist and founder chairman of Human Rights Umbrella Foundation-HRUF Vishal Ranjan Daftuar, among the 22 change makers of the year 2022.
Veterans like India’s External Affairs Minister Shri S. Jaishankar, Reserve Bank of India Governor Shri Shakti Kant Das, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, SEBI Chairperson Mrs. Madhavi Puri Buch have also been included as change makers.
Vishal Daftuar has also been honored by the Chief Justice of India and many other eminent personalities.
His noble works in public interest and human rights have received special support from the President of India, Chief Justice of India, Prime Minister, Chief Ministers of many states, National Human Rights Commission and also the Government of Bangladesh.
In June 2019, with the inspiration of the then President Honorable Ramnath Kovind, he established a global level organization, Human Rights Umbrella Foundation-HRUF. He is its founder chairman. Under his leadership, in just 18 months, HRUF has made a great start by completing four consecutive historic international missions. This historic success of HRUF has been greatly helped by Vishal Daftuar’s rich experience of 30 years in the field of human rights.
